Editorial Policy
How Telepathine separates evidence, traditional history, and reported experience; cites claims; corrects errors; and handles vendors.
Evidence labels
- Documented evidence: a claim tied to a traceable research, database, or official source.
- Traditional history: culturally or historically transmitted knowledge described in context.
- Reported experience: a subjective or ethnographic account, not proof of its interpretation.
Source hierarchy
We prefer primary research for specific experimental claims, systematic reviews for broad safety context, authoritative taxonomic and chemical databases for identity, and original historical sources for chronology. Vendor copy can document what a vendor claims; it cannot independently validate that claim.
Safety boundaries
We publish high-level risk and interaction context, with links to the underlying literature. We do not publish dosing, preparation, extraction, ingestion, or individualized medical instructions. Legal discussions remain high level because rules change and depend on jurisdiction.
Vendor methodology
Vendor order is determined by relevance, testing and transparency, availability, support policies, and information freshness. Commission is excluded. Records are marked researched, affiliate-approved, or personally-tested, and stale records trigger a build warning. Affiliate approval never upgrades a testing claim.
Corrections and updates
Substantive corrections update the page date. Readers can report an issue toeditor@telepathine.net. We disclose material commercial conflicts on the relevant page and in the affiliate disclosure.
